Changes to English Language Requirements for UK Work Visas

From 8^th January 2026 new requirements for English level are introduced.

The minimum level of English has raised from level B1 to B2 for these types of visas:

· Skilled Worker Visa

· High Potential Individual (HPI)

· Scale-up visa

This change will only apply for new applications.
